Technological Convergence — The future of Tech Industry

At the beginning of the 2000s, distributed systems, such as in automation, began to sprout — reinforcing technological convergence with software as a service product, innervating more for the same and little for the new. Technological convergence, by definition, means different types of technological systems perform similar tasks as they evolve. Having said that, these changes in technology expected to improve software products such seen less in telecommunication and media. Most of the serviceable software products are innovated with the sameness of the previous high-end breakthrough, for the upcoming and ongoing need to improve or fix the problems that are low priority. This helped to establish an industrial growth of the technological mass production offering extensions of previous solutions without any real innovations, with company branding/image being the underlying drive. And with that, the late 2–10' technology couldn’t make the catch for the utmost convergence for the distributed systems. Today, tech leaders are aware of this unidirectional growth mania in technology where computer-based, iterative development dominates the tech market. And they discuss what the future might look like and what can be done to meet future goals. The ideas generated are more tend to favor discoveries that either eventually extend the scope of technological advancement or give momentum to the current states of the developing industries. Either of which will help to automate the mass market through technological convergence.To achieve the above mentioned, the next energy revolution takes a must-be-done status. Because energy revolution is crucial for survival. As Peter Thiel said in Zero-to-One, “Energy is the master resource: it’s how we feed ourselves, build shelter, and make everything we need to live comfortably.”And to keep the technological progress going, we need to innovate, find new ways to promote renewables and energy efficiency. For the upcoming years, I think such expansions will call for: state analysis for reforming the current condition, with the prioritization of a human-centric approach — and to do so, supporting ventures in renewables and alternative energy sources will be very important to make a technological reform. And with the accessibility and renewability of these resources, a broad range of data operations will allow us to improve human well-being through technology. This will be achievable only if we can make a breakthrough in energy.

Acute pressure on resources

The sensitivity of the subject becomes apparent in conditions such as climate change, in which we face the importance of reusable, sustainable byproduct, drive home the urgency of the situation, and prompt us to consider top-to-bottom interventions.In this context, the use of consumer goods or existing unlimited resources in energy transformation can resolve distress seen in resource inadequacy. Certainly, countries making headway with renewables are one step ahead in the upcoming energy revolution. — Building networks: It’s not surprising that today almost any experienced person can mediate between entrepreneurs and investors in their niche. Not only accelerators, networking communities can help individuals to pitch their ideas or build business network but also many other businesses can partake building network for individuals at their niche.

— Nonconformity: Instead of stubbornly linear thinking and giving support that make everyone founder and everything a business, institutions and corporations must create open spaces in which people can meet up and work together or individually. Workspaces for makers will be useful to target niche in core business products and inventions as seen in hackathons and workshops. This way, applicable and more generic inventions can be visible and make an impact in the big pool of business.

— Reform before progress: A business frame should also implicate business reform rather than developing something that needs to be reformed first. Enterprises may consider focusing on the value of infrastructure especially in the areas where ideas came to life and radically brought business benefits in the long run.The suggestions above can come into most minds and they are not so arduous to apply. To summarize: I think the energy revolution will be even easier on the basis of carefully selected and applied tweaks. And with the energy revolution, technological advancement (e.g., use of big data analytics in healthcare) won’t be a dream anymore.
